Though our longest running project "Live Music. Peaceful Protest." we've been holding monthly large-scale music festivals focused on the need to oppose extremism in its many forms. Each month we ask musicians and DJ's to give their time and talent to entertain and provide hope for the protesters.
Each month we choose a new theme that represents an ongoing issue facing the U.S. and the world. Our art instillations are curated monthly to reflect the theme and are created with a mixture of original second life art and the creativity of Blue Fox. We are always looking for artists to get involved!
We encourage musicians to speak freely about the overwhelming problems we are currently facing! We know many venue owners are uncomfortable with political speech. We are not. We believe that musicians have long been on the forefront of people speaking out for positive change and social justice.

Democracy Defenders in Second Life is a grassroots activist group committed to safeguarding the core values of American democracy. In the face of growing political polarization and threats to our freedoms from the destructive and dangerous Trump administration and MAGA, we advocate for civil rights and the protection of democratic institutions, and we work to ensure the continued functioning of a government that serves all citizens. Through education, mobilization, and direct action, our mission is to empower individuals to take a stand against this traitorous administration and in support of a just, inclusive, and resilient democracy.
